About the event
Your friends will be amazed that you’ve created a beautiful decorative bowl simply by sewing cotton clothesline with thread. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to coil, shape, and stitch clothesline using a zigzag stitch to create a sturdy and stylish basket or bowl.
If you know how to operate a sewing machine — including threading both the machine and the bobbin — this workshop is for you. You’ll leave with a finished basket made from approximately 75 feet of clothesline, along with several optional finishing techniques to personalize your piece.
